The Tallassee Corporate Park has received an Alabama AdvantageSite designation.
The program was created in order to make the state more competitive for companies considering a location in Alabama. Sites must meet size, zoning and accessibility requirements to earn the designation from the Economic Development Partnership of Alabama.
"The designation of Tallassee Corporate Park as an AdvantageSite is an accomplishment we have worked toward diligently with the Tallassee Industrial Development Board," said Barry Mask, executive director for Elmore County Economic Development Authority, in a news release. "This announcement is strategic in its timing as we are currently communicating with suppliers for the upcoming GE Aviation plant in Auburn and Hyundai Heavy facility in Montgomery."
