YESAC to supply KIA from Tallassee facility

July 9, 2008

YESAC Alabama Corporation will significantly expand their production facility in Tallassee, Alabama.  YESAC Alabama Corporation President and Owner Jin-Weon Lee made the announcement to a gathering of happy local leadership and interested media at the Tallassee City Hall in Tallassee, Alabama.  YESAC’s announcement will mean that the Elmore County production plant will manufacture the equipment needed to supply the growing customer base that is connected to KIA Motors in Georgia in addition to their current customer base that is connected to Hyundai Motor Manufacturing in Alabama.  The City of Tallassee is located 40 miles from Hyundai Motor Manufacturing and 60 miles from KIA Motors.

YESAC currently employs 62 workers at their Tallassee facility and with this expansion will add at least 15 additional employees by the end of this year.  It is possible that additional workers will be needed by YESAC to meet the demand due to the increase in production.

Through this expansion, YESAC’s floor space will increase by 50%.  The new floor space will be provided by the Tallassee International Business Center.  The International Business Center is home to four different companies and continues to expand to provide building space for lease to new companies that are moving to the area.

YESAC Alabama Corporation, the City Council and Mayor of the City of Tallassee, the Tallassee Industrial Development Board, and the Elmore County Economic Development Authority all agree that it is their teamwork to grow together that has led to the good news of this expansion.
