Madix announces $4.5 million expansion

Elmore County’s fourth largest manufacturer has expanded once again in Elmore County.  Madix, Inc. is in the process of completing an expansion that will invest an additional $4,500,000.00 into their facility in Eclectic.  This expansion will add additional warehouse space as well as enhance the facility which will in turn increase productivity.  An official from Madix has told the Elmore County EDA that the expansion could mean as many as 15 additional jobs will be created there over the next year.

 

Madix located in Elmore County in 1996 and completed the most recent expansion of the facility in 2003.  Madix currently employs 321 at their Elmore County facility.

 

Madix is a leading supplier of metal and wood shelving and fixtures for a variety of national retail stores across the United States.  Madix has an additional Alabama location in Goodwater and locations in Massachusetts and Texas.
